The State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China on Sunday published a white paper titledSeeking Happiness for People: 70 Years of Progress on Human Rights in Chinaon 22 September, 2019.Human Rightswas mentioned in the ninth paragraph “Enhancing public awareness of legal protection of human rights” of the Sixth part “Strengthening the Rule of Law for Human Rights” as “…China has eight national human rights education and training bases. Professional periodicals including Human Rights, Human Rights Studies, and China Human Rights Review are published in China. The China Society for Human Rights Studies has consecutively published blue papers titledDevelopment of Human Rights in China, to advance research and education on human rights and promote understanding of the subject”.
Human rights, an academic journal sponsored and organized by the SDU Human Rights Research Center, was founded in 2001. It has been the first academic journal with the theme of human rights Since China adopted the policy of reform and opening-up in 1978.
